  1. OBJECTIVE

MSY ADVOGADOS is committed to protecting the privacy and security of information that identifies or may identify Personal Data. The purpose of this document is to inform you which Cookies are used on the MSY ADVOGADOS website and for what purposes, as well as the user's rights and options. This is a measure to ensure that MSY ADVOGADOS complies with applicable legislation and handles Personal Data in a fair and appropriate manner, so that it can establish a relationship of trust with the Data Subjects and avoid risks to the organization.

ANPD or National Data Protection Authority: federal public administration body responsible for ensuring, implementing and enforcing compliance with the LGPD;

When browsing on the MSY ADVOGADOS site, or authorised partner, certain Cookies may be stored on the user's computer or other access device for a period relative to the purpose of the Cookie's use;

PersonalData: Personal Data is any information related to a Data Subject, a natural, identified or identifiable person. The expression Personal Data used in this Policy shall also cover Sensitive Personal Data, when the latter is not explicitly mentioned;

Sensitive Personal Data: Personal data concerning racial or ethnic origin, religious conviction, political opinion, membership of a trade union or religious, philosophical or political organisation, data concerning health or sex life, genetic or biometric data, when linked to a natural person;

Personal Data Controller ("Controller"): Person who oversees and provides support on all matters relating to the Processing of Personal Data, in accordance with the provisions of the LGPD and the organization's internal policies and procedures on Personal Data protection;

LGPD or General Data Protection Law: Law No. 13,709/18, as amended, which provides for the Processing of Personal Data, including in digital media, by natural person or legal entity of public or private law, in order to protect the fundamental rights of freedom and privacy and the free development of the personality of the natural person;

Holder: the natural person to whom the Personal Data that are being processed refer to.

Processing: any operation carried out with personal data, such as those relating to collection, production, reception, classification, use, access, reproduction, transmission, distribution, treatment, filing, storage, elimination, evaluation or control of the information, modification, communication, transfer, dissemination or extraction.

  1. RELATED DOCUMENTS

In addition to this Policy, the Code of Governance for Fair and Ethical Use of Personal Data and Respect for Privacy of MSY ADVOGADOS and its Operational Policies, the standards and guidelines found in said Code, in particular the LGPD and the regulations and standards published by the ANPD, apply to Personal Data.

This Cookies Policy applies to the MSY ADVOGADOS website and its respective users.

  1. WHAT ARE COOKIES USED FOR?

MSY ADVOGADOS uses Cookies to facilitate and enhance the user's browsing experience on the pages of its website. During this navigation, the user may enter information, such as login data and language, which will be saved by means of Cookies. This information will be automatically loaded in the next visits of the user to the same website, generating greater personalization and speed of use.

There is an expiry date for each Cookie and you can also remove them at any time.
  • Essential Cookies: these are essential for the proper functioning of the website and other functions within the page. They are generally set only in response to actions taken by the user, which is equivalent to a service request, such as setting their privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms. These Cookies do not identify the user, allowing the user to configure their browser to block or alert them to these Cookies, however, this may affect the operation of the website or part of it.   • Cookies from third parties: MSY ADVOGADOS has partners to assist it in conducting its business efficiently. As such, these partners may be authorized to use Cookies in the user's browser in order to collect navigation information, topics of interest, among other purposes. Any partner that receives information concerning MSY ADVOGADOS' business (whether or not Personal Data) is subject to these internal policies and shall use such information only to perform the contracted tasks, following all applicable requirements to ensure confidentiality and legal use of the information.
  1. HOW TO DISABLE COOKIES

Most internet browsers are configured by default to automatically accept the installation of Cookies. However, the user can configure user browser to accept or delete Cookies before they are installed as well as regularly remove Cookies from user terminal through the browser.
